I was starting to think the Andalite really wasn’t an Andalite. But then, what was it and why did it look just like an Andalite? It sounded a lot like a human to me. We were about to get many more problems though because a bird suddenly crashed through the hospital window. The bird had too many wings and it was obviously the Visser in one of his morphs.
<Hold out your arm.> I flew down to the Andalite that wasn’t really an Andalite and landed effortlessly on his arm. <You’re going to have to make yourself useful really quick, plus there’s no other way to get you down. I’ll assume you don’t know how to morph so I’ll walk you through but you have to pick up on it fast.>
I focused my intense hawk gaze on that mutant bird. <You need to concentrate. Focus on me. When you see me going into a trance, you’ve acquired me.> I waited impatiently, time was wasting. And what if the “andalite” couldn’t morph?

Jamie held out her arm, curious as to what he was going to do as he flew down, but trusting this bird. Plus, she liked hawks. She stared at him with all eyes, it was so cool; here she was, in some alien body, with a bird on her arm. Crazy...but cool.
She listened to his instructions, nodding to show the understood, then closing her eyes, and concentrating on the hawk, envisioning the hawk as he'd told her to do. She felt the bird go still on her arm. She opened her eyes. <I...think it worked,> she said.

Marco looked up in time to flap his wings and head upwards. <Dude...does that guy realize that it's rude to come barging in unannounced? I think we may need to talk to his parents...> He flapped his wings next to Ax and said, <Well, how do you take a creature down when it looks like that? Ax-man, what is that thing?>
Marco didn't think that the bird would be too dangerous, but the speed of it had been fast. He just wanted the Visser to leave them alone. Why did he join this fight? He didn't want to be in this war much longer.

Cassie flew in beside Jake and watched, having just arrived from her recent position that she had been. She landed on a branch and saw an andalite look at Tobias with all four eyes. Cassie decided to watch behind the andalite should anyone sneak behind.
<Jake? Is everything okay? What's going on?> she asked him, concern in her voice. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she was willing to help.

As the Abomination known as Visser Three swerved to intercept the Animorphs, Aximili attempted to at least damage the vile villain so that his comrades could escape...
Flying swiftly at the kafit bird, the aristh managed to get the upper-hand by clawing at its back...
But how long would such fortune last?

((OOC: Permission to bunny, sorta, granted by Tobias)).
Jamie closed all of her eyes as he coached, focusing on the bird. The changes began – he could feel himself shrinking. He nearly panicked on that building top. His body was changing! What if it couldn’t be reversed? The changes stopped and he opened his eyes; he was a poodle-sized Andalite now. His fur was disappearing, and being replaced by a pattern of lines. His stalk-eyes were still there, allowing him to see every gruesome change.
Sighing through his nose-slits, and shaking, he closed his eyes, and continued the morph, until finally, he was fully hawk. When the transition was complete, he nearly flared in surprise; he could see everything. Including the fight. <WHOAH!> Mutant bird! Those guys needed help! But how could he fly? He was scared! He scuttled to the edge of a building, and opened his wings. The wind picked him up, and he was soon effortlessly gliding...oh god.
He was going to fall! He was so high up! He was going to die! He panicked, nearing the McDonalds’.

Jake soon joined the others, quickly responding to Cassie: <Everything's fine on my end, but we gotta help Ax; a seagull can't take that bird all alone. Tobias?> They were pretty far from Ax, Marco, and Visser Three. And that bird was moving really fast.
<Hang in there, Ax, Marco!> Jake shouted. <We're coming as fast as we can!>

I felt my body going into a trance when he acquired me. When I was out of it I spread my wings and took to the air. <Now focus and imagine the hawk. Will yourself to be the hawk! And don’t freak at the changes—it takes a bit of getting used to> I coached. I flapped my wings to accelerate towards the scene where the seagulls were facing off—and were overpowered—by a many-winged bird.
<Whoah-oh-oh!> I exclaimed. <Mutant bird! What the heck is that thing, Ax-man?>
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed the Andalite in the red-tail morph was falling. <Let the bird fly!> I shouted at him. I should know, I spent all my time in this body. <He knows what he’s doing! Whatever you do don’t panic!>

Jamie let the bird's instincts take over; it flapped its wings, bringing the bird up, until it floated comfortably upon a thermal. <Thanks,> she told Tobias. She then focused on the alien bird in the distance. <What the fuck is that? That bird's got too many freakin' wings!> She followed Tobias towards where the bird and the seagulls were. Tobias had also said another word that confused him. <Axeman? I don't see any guys with axes...>

Sure, he could do some damage to the pathetic sea-birds, but still, the Visser knew he was at risk if he stayed this way for long. He could see two other Earth-birds approaching him - no doubt Andalites in morph - so, navigating away from the seagulls, he flew to the top of a building.
A crowd had gathered to watch the strange sight; this building was lower than the others. The visser had picked it out because he knew he could easily jump from it to the dumpster nearby.
"Whoa, that bird has too many wings!" "Must be a mutant bird. Go, seagull!"
The visser demorphed out of sight on the roof-top; he grinned mentally as his tail with its deadly scythe-blade emerged.
