Name: Satesion-Hantofar-Ixius
Species: Andalite
Age: 56 in Earth
Gender: Male
Rank: War-Prince
Affiliation: Andalite Military
Appearance:
Towering at 6'3" from the very tips of his stalk eyes to the ends of his hooves, War-Prince Satesion is tall, for an Andalite. His course hair is navy blue, an anomaly among Andalites that makes him stand out. The tan of age has crept into his face and hands, yet he still appears quite handsome by Andalite standards. His eyes are a mysterious silver, contrasting greatly against his dark fur.
Satesion possesses a muscular torso for an Andalite, the result of years and years of body-building and training. But he still has two weak Andalite arms that are not as strong as that of a normal human. His lower body is very well-built by Andalite standards. His legs are long and powerful, especially his back ones. All-in-all, Satesion appears athletic and powerful. But his most striking feature has to be his tail.
His tail is long and whiplike, very supple. It is tipped with a fine blade, making him the envy of many Andalites. Sharp and curved, it is easy to wield, and deadly to all who face him. It strikes fear into the hearts of the enemy Controllers as he cracks it in the air with great skill.
Personality:
Satesion is unlike his brother. Satesion's presence generates fear; this is an Andalite that means business, and is not afraid to kill or worse. There is nothing he enjoys more than damaging the Yeerks' operations, which is why he gets pissy when there is no progress, because progress is key. He can adapt to varying situations, but hates feeling weak and helpless. His shame is if he ends up in an enclosed space; he is more claustrophobic than most Andalites. As long as there is a fight, though, or something to keep him occupied, which leads to progress in the fight, Satesion is happy.
History:
The son of Gasedion-Hantofar-Sarvor and Neri-Langor-Linoan, he was fraternal twins with his brother, Garrafor-Langor-Qilton. His father expected great things from him and Garrafor, and would train them at an early age; he would train them not only fighting, but other things. Satesion sought to be the centre of attention; he wanted to out-do his brother, and impress his father. He worked too hard, and even though he had a penchant for brilliance, he was a rebel.
He was never really happy, that competitive soul. But when the Yeerks began their invasion of the galaxy, he found his calling. An aristh, he was arrogant, and believed himself to be the one to stop the Yeerks. Instead of these hopes being dashed, the Andalite just tried harder in the fight, working his way up to Warrior, and from there to war-prince.
The war wasn't going well; it was uncertain which side would win, and this was not good. Earth was the concern; what if, for some odd reason, the Dome ship failed to put an end to the Abomination and his invasion of the human homeworld? And thus, prior to the GalaxyTree's arrival on earth, there was the Azure Nova. Garrafor would get to be a captain for once. This small craft travelled the rift, to assess the situation and report to the GalaxyTree before it attacked. However, it was shot down by the Yeerks before it could report what forces they had.
Garrafor and Satesion were the only survivors of the Andalites' valorous battle against the Yeerks on the homeland that never reached the Andalites in space. The two brothers fled into foreign lands, hiding themselves within the humans, unable to inform their brethren of anything until it was too late. They found another Andalite in the wreckage, and nursed the young aristh, Himuran, to health. And then they began to organise themselves. Satesion and Garrafor had a dispute, ending in Garrafor leaving with the Escafil device. Satesion would not follow, but he would never forgive him...
