Garrafor looked over him closely; he could not be sure on a Hork-Bajir, but his eyes seemed to relay that he was not lying. Still, he would scan him for signs of a Yeerk before he gave him the power. If he checked out...then Garrafor had sufficient power to begin populating his resistance, as well as a friend. He was such...a strange creature. He'd certainly have a lot of questions for him once they got to civilisation. <That is good,> he said. <My Resistance could use your strength.> He wasn't sure how he'd go about this; he couldn't just leave Drake here. But he had to get his scanning device, as well as the blue box. And then there was the question of a human morph...
But first, his most pressing question: <Drake, I have a question for you. You say you know nothing about these creatures, but you are a matured Hork-Bajir. Where did you come from?>

Drake sighed. "I'll tell you, but you may not believe me..." he began. "The truth is, I am not from this world. Not just as in this planet, but this entire world, this reality." He paused a moment, before continuing, "I was originally a human. The details on everything that happened are all too unbelievable, but to make a long story short, I was given a power that enabled me to travel between worlds and times."
Drake chuckled, :"As I said, it's unbelievable. Anyway, I only recently felt this world. Out of curiosity, I decided to try and come to it. I don't know what went wrong, but I was stuck in this form, with my powers stripped from me." He shook his head at how unbelievable this sounded as he explained it. Every time he had to explain something like this, he felt insane. "Also, I received some sort of telepathic message from something after I got here. It said, to be wary, and that 'danger lies in those like me' I have no idea what that means to be honest though."
Drake finished his explanation, and looked at the Andalite, "So, now that I've said all that, do you think I'm completely insane?" he asked, in a half-joking tone. Only half-joking though. There was a very real possibility that the creature would think he was insane.

Damian walked through the woods, glancing at the trees. He'd been on his way back home when he'd felt an urge to go into the woods. Really, work had been getting stressful. While he was on top of all his assignments, working hard enough to get EVERYTHING done, and make sure he was ahead was really trying.
Damian remembered a particularly difficult project. "God.. that was horrible. A 1/1,000th scale of the Great Wall of China? Eurgh.. my hands still ache.." Damian murmured. However, as Damian stopped his memories, he thought he heard a strange voice. Wandering towards it, Damian peeked out from behind a tree and let out a strangled yelp, "What the hell are you?!" Damian shouted, pointing at the.. two.. things.

Garrafor blinked; he had not heard of such things. He wondered if it was true, or if the Hork-Bajir was just making them up. Or maybe, worse, he was delusional. <Other...dimensions...? Interesting,> he replied.
"So, now that I've said all that, do you think I'm completely insane?"
<I am not sure, but you do not seem it to me.> Movement nearby! His tailblade instinctively raised, two stalk-eyes sought the source. He'd seen the boy before he'd hidden behind the tree. He daintily (well, almost; he was a big Andalite) walked over to the source, peering at the boy, tail raised in case he tried anything, though he seemed harmless.
The fact that the boy hadn't screamed "ANDALITE!" made him believe he wasn't a Yeerk; but Garrafor couldn't be sure. He lowered his tail, ready to raise it at a moment's notice, looking less threatening. He noticed the boy seemed afraid. <Do not fear us; we will not harm you. I am an Andalite; you may refer to me as Prince Garrafor.>

"What the hell are you?!" Drake heard a voice cry. He looked towards it, slightly startled. He saw some sort of movement behind a tree, in the direction the voice had come from. Garrafor was already heading over, and Drake followed.
So... Garrafor was the Andalite's name? Then, the other part of it registered, and Drake blinked in surprise. Prince? That was interesting. Honestly, Drake had never actually cared much for titles, but hearing someone was a prince tended to startle him.
He finished walking over, and said to the boy, who looked about the same age as Drake's original human form was, "And I'm Drake. According to him, I"m a Hork-Bajir." That would probably sound weird. Drake nearly let out a laugh as he thought about what the boy might think of that.

"An Andalite? What in the name of God is an Andalite? You look like something some scientists cooked up by mixing Horse and Human DNA!" Damian shouted, pointing his finger at the Andalite, before switching his gaze to the Hork-Bajir. "And what's that thing? Some kind of mix between a lizard, a human, and blades being sewn to the end product's skin?!" Damian cried out.
Damian was now breathing heavily, and glancing between the.. things. "Gotta get out of here.. must be having delusions.. don't know what these things are.." Damian muttered to himself, his fear palpable. "I don't care what you things are, I'm calling the police!" Damian shouted, before turning around and preparing to run... and flatly fell on his face as he twisted his ankle from turning too fast.

Garrafor blinked; well, at least, he wasn't a Controller. But what was a horse? What was a lizard? Then, the human started to run off, exclaiming he was calling the police. That would not be good.
The human tripped, falling flat on his face; on closer inspection, it had been the non-lethal side of the Andalite's tail that had tripped him. Garrafor stood over the boy. <I would not advise that,> the Andalite said coolly. He knew very well what police were - and the fact that the Yeerks had infiltrated them. <You must remain with us, or they will take you.>
TSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!
The blast barely missed Drake, and hit the nearby tree. It fell with a crash. "Watch where you aim that thing, you idiot!" a human-Controller snapped at the Hork-Bajir that had fired the weapon.
"Fulferth gagrah small!" the Hork-Bajir said; Garrafor's translator was able to work with the crude mixture of English, Galard and the Hork-Bajir tongue to decipher that the Hork-Bajir was saying the trigger was too small for the Hork-Bajir to shoot with.
"Why don't you tell that to the Visser, you fool?!" The human-Controller yanked the Dracon from the Hork-Bajir's fingers. He aimed it at Drake, as another Hork-Bajir-Controller emerged. "Get the Andalite," he said. "I'll take care of this filth."
The two bladed monstrocities made their way towards Garrafor and Damian, as the human-Controller once again fired at Drake.

The boy started to run off. Drake would have run after, but Garrafor tripped him. Then... "Wha-?!" Drake let out a cry as a tree in front of him suddenly broke, and crashed to the ground. Along where it broke, it looked charred... Drake looked around, and saw another human and a Hork-Bajir. The Hork-Bajir was holding a gun, he had apparently been aiming for Drake.
The human, almost certainly a Controller, snapped at the Hork-Bajir. The Hork-Bajir snapped back, in what sounded like a mixture of several different languages, including English. Drake didn't bother to try and figure things out, he charged towards them while they were arguing.
By the time the Human-Controller had prepared himself, Drake was almost there already. He felt a searing pain in his left arm as he jumped forward, a shot from the laser had grazed him. However, Drake wasn't stopped. He grabbed the man by the throat with his clawed right hand, piercing his neck and killing him. Drake turned around and threw the limp body towards the other Hork-Bajir, as he felt his eyes changing again.
The man's gun went flying towards Garrafor and the boy, unnoticed by Drake. Drake began charging towards a new Hork-Bajir that had appeared. He was ready for a fight.

Damian looked around as the chaos unfolded. Laser beams, monsters, crazy men. "What is this, a world gone crazy?!" Damian shouted, as the thing form earlier cut up one of the Humans who had been blasting. As the gun.. thing flew towards Damian and the.. Andalite was it? Damian crawled forward and slowly picked it up. It wasn't too hard to understand. Shaped like a gun, and you pull the trigger to make things go bo- his thoughts were cut off as his finger twitched.
The beam fired, the blast shooting out and hitting a tree, causing several branches to fly off. Damian followed the trajectory of the logs, watching as one knocked out of those.. Hork-Bajir. Damian painfully crawled over to a tree, and went into a sitting position, as the other Hork-Bajir headed towards the Andalite.

That tailblade instinctively whipped over the Andalite's head, ready to slice into a Controller, as Garrafor heard the sound of a Dracon firing. A Hork-Bajir and a human...well, Drake made quick work of the human, and the Dracon went flying. Garrafor let the human pick it up. <Careful where you aim that; it is stronger than your Earth-guns,> he warned, as the human fired the gun, and caused a tree to fall on an unsuspecting Hork-Bajir. Unfortunately, it only wounded him; the Hork-Bajir started clawing at the tree.
A Hork-Bajir leaped at the Andalite, spitting out a stream of Hork-Bajir swear-words as he struck at the Andalite; Garrafor dodged each stroke of its blades, and swung his tail, hitting an artery on the Hork-Bajir's throat, ending it quickly. Turquoise blood sprayed all over himself and Damian.
The sound of hissing announced the Taxxons, but as was their nature, most tried to avoid the Andalite and the Hork-Bajir, and instead dived for the helpless Hork-Bajir that had been hit by the falling tree. Circular mouths descended upon him; he cried out in a futile hope that someone or something would help him and his host. <Taxxons!> Garrafor said in disgust. <Destroy them before they get close to you! Once Taxxons smell the blood on you, they will devour you!>
A Taxxon leaped towards Damian in a suicidal attempt to get food. FWAP! Garrafor's tailblade split it apart; insides spilled and sizzled as it collapsed to the ground, and began to consume its own flesh.

Drake saw as a tree fell upon the Hork-Bajir controller he had been running after. He was about to finish it off, when he heard a hissing noise. It sounded like... Taxxons was what Garrafor had called them.
Drake went into a full-out rage. After what he had seen the Taxxons do, he hated them. As soon as they were in sight, he rushed towards the nearest one, his bladed right arm slashing it in half. Then, he continued on a rampage, slicing every Taxxon he could reach to shreds. He vaguely felt the pain in his left arm from the laser beam he'd been hit by, but he didn't care... Actually, he literally seemed to feel it less and less as he continued.

"Those.. things are disgusting!" Damian shouted, bringing up the Dracon for another shot. Damian saw another Hork-Bajir approaching the scene, bringing up the Dracon, Damian squeezed the trigger. Another blast erupted from the weapon, and Damian saw that he'd managed to take out the thing. Damian, seeing he was in the clear for now, carefully began to work his way to a standing position. He'd managed to get into a position leaning against the tree, when he heard hissing.
Damian watched as more Taxxons rushed towards him and the Andalite. The Andalite would be fine, but Damian? Damian had no idea how many shots were left in this thing, or even how it worked. Damian brought up the Dracon again, his face a mask of terror. "Stay back you worm.. things!" Damian shouted, shifting the Dracon from one Taxxon to the next.

The Taxxons were relentless; they needed their meat. Besides, these knew they'd suffer the inevitable fate of death. <Just fire the weapon!> Garrafor snapped at Damian; what was he waiting for? A Taxxon lunged at Damian, and was sliced open by the Andalite's tailblade; its brethren descended upon it in a mad dash for meat. Garrafor sliced these to ribbons; he could not let these filthy, vile Yeerks live.
Finally, all of the Taxxons were dead. <We must go!> he ordered the Hork-Bajir and human. <There will be more soon.> One Andalite, a Hork-Bajir, and a human armed with a Dracon beam were not enough to take on a party of Hork-Bajir-, Taxxon-, and human-Controllers.

Eventually, Drake ran out of Taxxons to kill. He wanted to destroy more of these vile monsters! However, a voice, well, kind of, cut through the fog of his rage. <We must go! There will be more soon.> Garrafor's thought-speech came.
Drake was once again covered in Taxxon blood. However, somewhere along the way, he had gotten some cuts of his own, which oozed turquoise colored blood. Drake was panting, and as his anger faded, he realized that he was exhausted. He said, sounding as tired as he felt, "Yes, we should probably try and get away... What about him though?" Drake glanced over at the boy with the laser gun. He didn't seem like he would want to come along...

"Go? Go where?" Damian asked, following the Andalite. "I agree that I don't feel like dying, but my ankle hurts after I tripped!" Damian stated, hopping along, using the trees as support. Damian could hear noise in the distance. Pursuers? Or perhaps regular folk who had noticed all the commotion. Heh, regular folk, of course. "Gotta keep moving.. gotta keep moving.." Damian muttered, trying to move faster.
Damian hopped as fast as possible, trying to keep moving. Being wierd.. worm-ish thing food wasn't on his top list. "God.. this day is strange." Damian muttered to himself. "Andalites, Hork-Bajir.. and Taxxons oh my.." Damian sighed.
