He would notice the child had an expression on his face, but was trying hard to hide it. Andalite vision was capable of seeing more than that of humans. He was afraid he'd alarmed the boy too much. He hoped that he wouldn't go running to tell the clerk about a "blue centaur." There were probably Controllers in this building; after all, the Yeerks had begun an invasion here. The boy explained that he was defenseless, and guessed he could read minds. <I understand; no, I cannot read your thoughts or memories. Even if I could, I would not intrude in that fashion.>
He then began to answer his questions. <I am War-Prince Garrafor-Langor-Qilton. I am not from this planet, as you probably have ascertained. I am an Andalite. I ask that you tell no-one of my existence.> He locked the door; no-one would be able to get in here; Anthony would be able get out if he needed, but not with the Andalite blocking the door. <Do you understand?>

The blue abomination was looking at him, and Zap could tell he was seeing far more then he could see of him. He didn't like that. He thought to him, <I understand; no, I cannot read your thoughts or memories. Even if I could, I would not intrude in that fashion.> 'Good to know, I guess to communicate they must purposely send their thoughts, privacy would be impossible if they could do that, so it's no wonder it works like that - thought it shouldn't work at all.'
<I am War-Prince Garrafor-Langor-Qilton. I am not from this planet, as you probably have ascertained. I am an Andalite. I ask that you tell no-one of my existence.> '...War-Prince what now? Fuck, I suck with names, like hell I can remember that, let alone say the thing. And -ask-? He's trying to be polite, how cute.' Anthony's suspicions of the man only grew at he locked the door, and continued, <Do you understand?>
'How insulting,' Anthony immediately thought, but he said nothing. This could be the end, his face turned into a glare, as he thought of his options. It went by quick, he had none. He had nothing, he said he was defenseless and he was. Didn't even have a pocket knife, his Dad got him a fancy -watch- for his 18th birthday, and not one with a bunch of awesome spy stuff in it that would help in this situation, just a fancy watch to where to formal occasions. It would be of little assistance though, the tiny blade wouldn't hold against that huge tooth like appendage on his tail, Anthony also wouldn't know how to use the damn thing, so it'd be futile.
He said nothing, as he wasn't sure he did, and he wasn't going to admit he didn't, that wasn't his style. 'This man... what is his intentions? He could kill me and keep his secret, but he hadn't. He told me to "Not be scared" though that is a common tactic to get someone to let down their guard, though he still has no reason to do that in the first place. Hmm...' he thought of what he said, and realized, '...the way he said that, he made it out like I would get a chance to tell someone, which means he doesn't plan to kill me, but that doesn't make sense....'
"Of course I do, but what I don't understand is why. You plan on letting me go, but why? I could be a possible threat, and you'll just let me leave? Whatever your plans are, which I must assume are negative, I could possibly ruin them by letting me leave like this, or at least hinder them. What you are doing doesn't make sense, what's your motive?" he was very suspicious of this War-Prince, and while he was getting a bit cocky and aggressive, which he knew was a bad idea, basically inviting him to kill him, he was fairly certain that the man would not harm him. Anthony noted he never said he wouldn't tell anyone, that is because he wasn't sure if he would or wouldn't just yet, he didn't have the time to think over his options in that regard yet.

The boy was glaring at him right now. He also looked as though he was thinking, and thinking hard. The boy replied, but asked why, guessing the Andalite's plans were negative, and that he could ruin them or hinder them. A human gesture that he'd picked up, Garrafor was shaking his head at that. <It is not I who has malicious intent,> he said. <I am in fact resisting an invasion of the Earth.> He paused, and then continued: <I am going to make myself scarce once you leave. That way, they will not come after me if you do indeed tell someone. But for your own safety, I ask that you do not. For if they know that you have seen an Andalite, they will infest you. They are parasites, capable of taking over any sentient life-forms. Humans, other alien creatures known as Taxxons and Hork-Bajir, and...Andalites, though they only have one.> He looked closely at Anthony, trying to see his reaction. <The reason I know you are not a Controller - that is, a human with a Yeerk folded into his brain - is your reaction to me. I do not think a Yeerk would be capable of that. But I must check to be sure.> Keeping his tailblade raised - this was for the boy's safety, not his own - he darted to his drawer, and opened it, pulling out a book and opening it. Inside, he'd hidden a bio-scanner, in addition to a shredder - which was an Andalite's "laser gun" in a way ( Image Link). He quickly ran the former over at the boy, pausing slightly at his head. <As I suspected - not a Controller.> He set it back into the book, and closed it. He frowned. He needed to get back to the group. <Now, I ask that you close your eyes for a few minutes; I am going to assume a humanform, but it will be unpleasant.> He was standing in front of the drawer; he didn't want the boy to freak out and take the gun.

'For -my- safety? Ya right, good try. But I'll believe him that he's trying to help, he hasn't finished talking yet, maybe he has an ulterior motive that makes all this make sense...' he would've responded at this point, but the War-Prince continued before he could speak. He spoke of the enemy, and it all came together. The blue abomination in front of him didn't devoulge it, but Anthony could see his motives now. These Yeerks were parasites, helping out those it could feed upon would help weaken them. He couldn't know that the vast population was also a factor, he had no way of knowing the populations of other aliens, but he didn't need it. The War-Prince continued, not allowing Anthony much time to speak. Zap was sweating a bit now, he was pretty nervous, shit was hitting the fan hard, and it didn't help when the andalite began to wonder if he was a Controller. He moved rather swiftly, which was strange for something with four legs in such a tight space, and go into a drawer. He pulled out a book, and then out of the book a fucked up looking guns of some sorts. Zap backed exactly one step off, and continued to sweat as the War-Prince scanned him with the less threatening gun he pulled out.
After a second that seemed to last long, because he couldn't have know it would be painless, he said he wasn't a controller. "Good to know your stuff works then. And okay, now I understand, you're looking out for yourselves after all - I know there have to be an ulterior motive to helping us. These parasites could easily take over the earth, and that's just more enemies you would have to fight." he was still glaring, though the sweat went down his face. As he asked him to close his eyes, he responded, "Ya right, I think I'll be able to take whatever you're about to do, just let me back off..." he could tell he was trying to keep him away from the other gun he had - Anthony had no intentions of trying to fight back though, not against something with a tooth for a tail.

Garrafor listened to the boy as he spoke; he seemed very logical. He had figured out, and understood why, it appeared. He still couldn’t completely trust him, thus he couldn’t let him go yet. He didn’t mention that he cared, after being with them, for these humans – and that he had a son who cared even more for them. <Very well,> he said, setting the scanner back into the drawer, then closing it. <This may looked painful, but I assure you it is not.> From there, he commenced the human morph he had in his DNA: a mixture of older males he had acquired. The first change was his head; his face was changing to that of a human, and it was not a pretty sight, especially when the nostrils pushed together, becoming a nose, and Garrafor found himself unable to breath. He gasped, finally, as the mouth and then the nostrils formed. He fell to the ground as his front legs sucked themselves into his chest, the cracking and the transition looking disturbingly painful. He writhed slightly on the ground, but that was his body shaping and changing.

(OOC: Slight bunnying, Jamie is allowing it)
Garrafor then stood up and looked at Anthony, and asked him, knowing he wouldn't go back on what he said, even though he should have, <Are you okay? The transformations... are not pretty.>
Anthony was eye twitching and gagging the entire time, though he made sure that he muggled the gagging, he didn't want him to hear. It was utterly disgusting, and seemingly impossible as well. He was taking in it all, trying to think. He quickly realized what it was, not that it was hard, but... it was -real.- The alien in front of him had just went from a mutant horse thing to a normal looking human. That also explained the bird perfectly, but there were bigger problems now - like how the hell he did it. Transformations, at least to that degree, is physically impossible, it can't be done. You can't create matter from nothing, it breaks all the laws of matter. How could they do something like this?
Nearing the end of watching, Anthony threw up a bit, right into his hand. It wasn't a lot, he hadn't eatten yet, since his father was going out to get food. He shoved it back down, shivering a bit, and wiped the rest on his jeans. He replied back, "Ya... ya... I'm fine, just... threw up a bit." He regained his composer after that, wiping his mouth, and straightening his glasses. "And... you have to be kidding. Did you seriously just transform from the blue minotaur thing to a human? You were that bird I saw too, weren't you? No wonder I didn't find any evidence in the room of a bird coming in, you came in and instantly transformed. But that is of little importance compared to what I'm about to ask next."
"How the -bloody hell- did you do that? That's -physically impossible.- Matter doesn't work like that, you can't just create matter like that out of thin air. Just what are you pulling? I swear this is way too fucked up to be real. How do you explain your transformations?" his voice was slightly loud, he was getting angry, all this, it didn't make sense, and he doesn't like it when things don't make sense, that shit pisses him off.

The boy was not taking it well. He looked as though he were gagging and throwing up as the transitions neared completion, and then the boy again spoke, as Garrafor, now a middle-aged human wearing a tight white t-shirt and bike shorts, gazed at him, his mouth completely straight but his eyes showing his concern. He didn't really understand the concept of throwing up out of one's mouth, but Andalites sometimes ejected grass juices from their hooves when they were utterly disgusted.
The boy had discerned that Garrafor had been the bird; it was such an obvious fact now that Garrafor wasn't surprised the very logical boy had discerned it. Then he asked how the morphing worked. He worked his mouth while he was waiting for the boy, then spoke. "In my case, I was not drawing matter; the human has less mass than my own true form." Even Prince Garrafor couldn't hide his fascination with the sounds. "Fffffffff. Mmmuh. Sorry, I am not used to communicating with a mouth."
He continued, walking into the kitchen, nearly running into the counter because he'd had his head turned around to look at the boy: "When extra mass is needed for a morph to a larger animal, that mass is drawn from zero-space. Mass is exuded into zero-space when you morph something smaller than yourself like an insect." He grabbed a cup, and poured some cool water into it from the faucet; he hoped this would help the boy.
Then he realised the human wouldn't know what that was. "Space alternate to our own; it can be used for faster-than-light travel. Our ships are capable of this; the enemy's are as well." He walked over to Anthony, handing him the cup and looking closely at him to see his reaction.

She was afraid, but she was also curious. And neither said they would hurt her. And what kind of word was Hork-Bajir? It sounded Arabic. She noticed one of them was grimacing as he started to run. Quickly, she moved over to him, and let him lean on her; it was slower, but it seemed like they weren't being pursued by...whatever might be pursuing them.

"...Well then." Anthony couldn't really argue with that, aside from the fact that something like that existing sounds like absolutely bullshit. "Okay, so you're not pulling matter out of thin air or removing it in that same fashion, so I guess it can work, but how do you get the matter to come to this dimension, and in the way you want it to be? Is there some sort of preset code that you have to follow? There has to be a limiter, you can't just turn into anything you want. You could just turn into a huge dragon or something and rape everything otherwise." Anthony couldn't realize that they are much more real menacing things out there then the dragons of Earth lore. "So how does it work exactly?" Anthony has greatly calmed down from before, having thrown up and having a halfway reasonable explanation that also went into territory that Anthony had no knowledge made him a bit more humble. It was mostly that last one really.
He watched as the War-Prince got a cup of water. He was a bit confused by this at first, as he talked, and then found he had gotten it for him, probably because he threw up. He slightly reluctantly took it, he didn't particularly like being aided, especially by people he doesn't know. His throat burned like hell though, he would have barely showed it, but it burned. He drank it quickly, "Thank you," he set it down on a table, and waiting for a response.

Madra had been listening silently, weighing all this in her head. Was this what her mother had warned her about? She approached the Andalite prince. "My name is Madra. I am the daughter of Allison Kim. Allison Kim was one of the first humans that Edriss 526 infested. I'm sure you recognize that name. She has told me everything about the Yeerks. They broke her. I cannot forgive them for that. If you want to stop them, I'm in. I'll do whatever it takes." She made a fist with one hand and pounded it into an open palm. "I want those slugs gone."
